We provide hospitality at Cheltenham Racecourse but our involvement in National Hunt Racing goes much deeper than that. Our Managing Director, Hugh Doubtfire, owns 25% of Imperial Commander, winner of the 2008 Paddy Power Gold Cup and two Cheltenham Festival races, the 2009 Ryan Air and 2010 Gold Cup. Hugh has also had 40 winners under rules and has had horses with 10 different trainers including Nigel Twiston Davies, Willie Mullins, Alan King, Jonjo O’Neill, Tim Vaughan and others. This involvement with the trainers and jockeys gives us the opportunity to arrange a visit by racing personalities to our hospitality faciltiies to enhance our customer’s involvement and experience on the day.
In addition, the steam train that we operate into the racecourse is sponsored by At The Races which also brings TV crews and racing personalities on board our magnificent steam train.
Lastly, over the years we have taken the 2010 Cheltenham Gold Cup around our various hospitality facilities and encouraged our guests and their clients to have a picture with the cup which clients have really appreciated.
